About the Programme
As we embrace the fourth industrial revolution, we can’t overlook the potential cybersecurity risks that come with the integration of transformative technologies in our daily lives.
To address this challenge, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has selected the Singapore Management University (SMU), as the academic partner to co-design and deliver, in partnership with ISTARI, the Cybersecurity Strategic Leadership Programme (CSLP), a critical initiative under the SG Cyber Leaders programme.
Upon completion of the programme, participants will join the most esteemed members of Singapore’s cybersecurity community, uniquely positioned to enhance the country’s profile locally and regionally.

Learning Outcomes
The programme aims to develop a pool of exceptional cybersecurity leaders who are well-versed in international best practices to combat ever-evolving cyber threats and make cybersecurity a business-critical practice within their organisations.
By the end of the programme, you will be able to—

Overseas Immersion (Cambridge & London, UK) | In-person Sessions+
+Participants are required to make necessary arrangements to accommodate travel time in addition to the scheduled programme dates above.
- Align on a common understanding of ‘resilience’ and specifically how it relates to the cyber domain.
- Explore how cyber resilience differs from cybersecurity and what is driving this change.
- Deep dive into how corporate governance concepts apply to cyber risk management and have been challenged by emerging trends in Board and Regulatory requirements.
- Explore the concept and theory of strategy, what it is and what it is not within a business context and then craft a business-centric cyber resilience strategy to take back to organizations.
- Provide a framework and understanding of how power and influence are structured within corporate organizations to aid participants return to the workplace when implementing their resilience strategies.
- Engage with leading cyber security executives, industry leaders and government decision makers in the United Kingdom to explore and learn from best practices in enterprises and in public-private partnerships.

Programme Directors

François Bogacz
SMU Executive Development
François has a deep hands-on knowledge of the challenges of the IT industry leaders, having spent the first part of his life in management positions at Philips, Hitachi and Microsoft.
Drawing on his extensive background in IT and management, he has been a key figure in developing high-impact learning experiences, helping senior leaders build C-suite mindsets for cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and digital transformation. He is also the Chair of the Skills and Credentials Working Group at the Digital Education Council.

Jason Mallinder
ISTARI
Before joining ISTARI, Jason was the former Global CISO and Managing Director at Credit Suisse. He was responsible for information security, including cybersecurity and technology risk management, globally. He is a certified information security manager and certified risk manager. He chaired the Investment Banking Information Security Group in the U.K. and worked closely with the Bank of England and the U.K. government on cross-sector cyber defence development, testing and exercising programmes.

Individuals who have successfully completed and obtained a certificate from SMU Executive Development (ExD)’s Cybersecurity Strategic Leadership Programme will automatically be recognised as SMU Associate Alumni.
