About the Programme
The Executive Fellowship in Investment Management is a rigorous, practice-led programme for professionals seeking to elevate their investment judgement and leadership impact.
You will deepen your mastery across asset classes, sharpen your ability to analyse, structure, and execute deals, and strengthen your strategic decision-making.
Guided by senior industry practitioners and leading faculty, you will apply learning through real-world projects and gain access to a powerful network across banking, PE/VC, asset management, and family offices. The programme prepares you to step confidently into more senior, influential investment roles.

Programme Overview
The programme has five phases, each separated by a two-week break.
- Each module lasts one to two weeks and ends with a required assignment.
- Participants will attend six to seven hours weekly of mostly in-person classes on two weekday evenings, with some Saturday sessions.
- Participants should plan for an additional six hours of independent study.

- Understand the relationship between capital seekers and providers—from businesses and governments to institutional funds and family offices.
- Learn how macroeconomic trends shape investment opportunities across debt, equity, and hybrid instruments.

- Learn valuation, investor relations, and how companies prepare for the scrutiny of public markets.

- Explore valuation frameworks and risk assessment for complex situations such as litigation finance or bankruptcy workouts.

Investment Portfolio Management
- Discover how hedge funds deploy diverse strategies—from long/short equity to event driven, macro, and quantitative investing.
- Evaluate their risk-return trade-offs and performance metrics.
Phase 5

Week of 4 January 2027
- Examine the global regulatory landscape including MAS, SEC, FCA, and ESMA frameworks.
- Understand KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, and data protection obligations.
- Explore ethical investing, fiduciary responsibilities, and lessons from regulatory failures.

Week of 11 January 2027

- Learn to identify and evaluate investment opportunities by scanning markets, sectors, and companies.
- Understand how to leverage databases and networks to generate deal ideas, test hypotheses, and build collaborative approaches that combine knowledge, experience, and creativity.
- Dive into the technical and strategic aspects of deal design.
- Conduct scenario analyses, assess regulatory and accounting implications, and integrate ESG considerations.
- Learn to balance risk and return, build safeguards into deal structures.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through sound governance and negotiation readiness.

Week of 25 January 2027

- Drive time-bound deal execution
- Craft and negotiate term sheets; run end-to-end due diligence (business, legal, financial, environmental, management);
- Address red flags; manage conditions precedent/subsequent;
- Finalise legal documentation and agreements;
- Communicate the deal effectively to the market.

Late February 2027 till early April 2027
- Translate learning into real-world impact by working on a company-sponsored project.
- Participants will collaborate in teams to address a live investment challenge provided by an industry partner and will pitch their proposal to them.

Early May 2027
- The programme culminates with an integrative assessment where participants present their applied project outcomes and
investment recommendations to a panel of faculty and senior practitioners.
