As an Executive Director and Affiliated Faculty at SMU Executive Development, Katharina loves teaching a broad range of Leadership aspects, ranging from Authentic to Team Leadership. Prior to joining SMU in 2013, she was Programme Director and Head of Practice Group Life Science Industries at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, Germany.
Markus Karner supports program design, faculty choice, case writing, and the development of blended and online learning platforms. He teaches a variety of interdisciplinary courses on strategy, business model design, management under VUCA environments, decision making, and technology related subjects. Markus has been teaching executives, MBA candidates, and undergraduates at Singapore Management University since 2005. A native of Austria, Markus holds a PhD in Life Sciences.
Flocy is the Programme Director with SMU Executive Development and is responsible for designing learning interventions for both public programmes and bespoke programmes conducted by Executive Development. Her professional career of 2 decades spans across corporate, consulting and academia. Flocy holds an excellent record of having worked with multinational companies across the globe, and public sector organisations in India and Singapore. She serves as a coach, a facilitator and a theme weaver.
Stijn first joined academia as a speaker, then as a team coach on clients’ action learning projects, and currently, as a Corporate Partnerships Director. He works with clients from many industries and is most familiar with those of IT, software, commercial trade, energy and banking. Stijn works with clients in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan.
Roma has worked in the international higher education field since 2000, moving between non-profit and for-profit organisations across three continents. She has partnered with companies from a variety of industries, but has her deepest roots in the hospitality, health care and e-commerce industries. Finding great joy in helping clients strengthen their businesses by developing their high performing and top executive staff, Roma aims to match the transformational needs of companies with the best research and thought leadership available via SMU Executive Development
As the Business Development Manager for Public Programmes, Ayden forges strong relationships with his clients and ensures that the programmes cater to their corporate training needs and personal development.
David has worked in the higher education sector for over 10 years. He works with clients from many industries and has a varied professional background in aviation training and healthcare leadership management. He joins SMU Executive Development to expand his experience as it is focusing in executive trainings that are professional and practical as well as academic. Making clients happy is his first priority.
